I have a '05 Glastron GX205 with the Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi. There is a leak over the very back part of the bilge, it may have been there since last season, but has definitely gotten worse - to the point where the bilge pump runs every 5 minutes or so. When I stick my head down as close as I can to the bilge, I can see / hear a very steady drip, not quite a steady stream. It is coming from high enough up that I can't fill the bilge with water and get a leak to show when I have it on the trailer, so I'm thinking it must be coming from somewhere on the back part of the engine / front part of the lower unit. I don't believe it is the seal on the lower unit, since I can hear it drip and it isn't just running down the backside of the bilge and filling it up. Anyone have any suggestions on what to look at specifically? Thanks.

Maybe stick your iphone in the areas where you cannot quite see and shoot some video.

when was the last time you did a bellows service? Volvo recommends every 2 years.

I just got the boat last season, I'm not sure the previous owner had done one at all. Could a leaky bellow show up as a drip on the inside of the boat like this?

Does it leak at the same rate with engine off or engine running?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I notice the bilge running when the boat is off more often. I don't think there is much of a difference, if anything it leaks less while running.

you should be pulling the outdrive every year for annual inspection of u-joints and gimbal bearing.
