I have disconnected the water temp sensor on top of the thermostat housing but it made no difference.... need to find the oil pressure boy, can't be hiding tooo far away... only issue is that on my boat, access is wildly difficult.

Just looked up the price of the sensor... its around ?40 :-O

Surely this part can be cross referenced... probably off a GM vehicle of some sort... part number is 3852215
