#31 is for 5.7's 2001 and up. (section 2 has the info you want) If thats not the year you have then put your mouse over each manual listed and it tells you below what year and engine each manual is for.

Chris, from time to time I've noticed somebody will post certain specific info such as the engine being a 1984 year without that info showing up anywhere in the post or on the OP's home page. I feel as though I'm missing something that everyone else is seeing. Just curious how did you know it was a 1984?
