50 hp 1984 2 stroke runs rough

I have checked many items for many problems. Yet the motor runs rough and is hard to start if I pump the fuel bulb. If I don't touch the bulb it starts but still runs rough. I tried adjusting the carbs with no luck. Things I have done and checked.
Replace float, needle and gaskets in carbs, repaired wire from stator to rectifier, replaced rectifier (ohm tested bad), replaced spark plugs, ohm tested coils-stator-trigger all good. Repaired dried out cracking wire for trigger. Replaced impeller. Installed a new seal for water plate cover that was leaking out by the #1 cylinder.

I planned on checking the timing but it was raining tonight. Hoping for some good luck and good weather.

I have had a few threads previously with some great help. Lets keep it going and get this old beast running! :joyous:

I also replace the fuel lines in side the motor cover and the compression tests at around 115psi each cylinder . Choke plunger replaced.

I will check that tonight as I won't have time to do much else until Saturday.

More things to do:Check fuel,tank,fuel lines are in good condition with no loose connections or cracks.Have all gaskets on carbs been replaced.All metal parts cleaned in carb cleaner and blown out.Float height adjusted.

I replaced the fuel in the tank. All connections are good. I may consider replacing the line from tank to the motor also. Carb has a new float adjusted to spec.

The bulb does loose some pressure

Ok, I checked the timing and it was ok. I could not check high rpm as it is not running well.

I rechecked my spark plugs today and the #3 plug had black crap on it. I swapped coil 3 with 2 coil and 3 plug wire with 1. After running it awhile, still running rough, 3 plug came back out dirty. I rechecked compression and all cylinders are at 120.
