50 HP 4-Stroke, Bogs on Acceleration

My 2003 50 HP 4-stroke starts easy, idles well, and runs at high speed nice and smooth. The problem occurs when I try to accelerate quickly...it bogs down and dies. I have to baby it from idle up to about 2000 rpm then it runs OK. Do I need a complete carb rebuild? I hope not!

before tearing into the carbs have a lick and synch done.
you will have to use the service manual and a techmate vacumate or its equivalent manometer to properly set it up.
if not set up correctly the acceleration enrichment circuits wont work properly.

its a typo on a link and synch.
its to insure all the linkages and linkage sychronization is correct.
however they made many versions in the past 15 years or so and you have thoughtfully choose not to identify YOURS.
