50hp merc adding trim or tilt

I've got a 1985 50hp merc outboard (Merc 500) without trim or tilt. I'd like to look for a blown motor with trim & tilt and use the part to add trim & tilt to mine. What years/ models should I be able to use?

The plot thickens . . . . I just found a 1975 50hp. Is the trim/tilt going to fit a 1985? What other parts should work.
