50hp power head question

Hi all I have a 1989 bayliner with a factory 1989 force 50 on it . Well my engine runs great but just got a good deal on a 198? Force 50 my motor has two blue coils and the new engine has what looks like one big black one and different wiring will this power head bolt right onto my bottom hi I have a problem with mine. Also I can't remove the lower leg on my motor I think the bolts may brake. Thanks

The newer motor likely has the Mercury thunderbolt ignition with a switchbox, making it 1992 or newer.

The powerhead itself may bolt up, not sure.
