If so, then you have a magneto style ignition.

I have a question for you, I have a boat myself and i need some parts for it. But I have no information whatsoever about my motor and no serial number, no building yearand no model. your picture that you posted on here looks like the same motor that i have, can you send me the information about this motor if you have any? I would appreciate that a lot.

I haven't seen him post here in a long time.

You should start your own thread.
Include model# Serial# and any info you have.
Like what you need and why??

The model# and serial# are on the lower cowl on a tab usually in the front.
