HI I need help I have a 55hp johnson outboard and the wireing was roted on the power pak clear down to the box is there a way of testing the power pak without hooking it up?<br />A new one cost $270 any help would be great thanks.
There are ohm values for testing packs but a connected run test is the last word.If your powerpack has wires rotted off to the sealed case,its future isn't bright.I'd look for a new one.
