No seal there. Make sure both water tubes enter the rubber grommets on top of the impeller housing. If not, you won't pump any water.

i got them in as best i could.. i even tore the L/U while standing at the landing and did it again.. going to be outa town the next couple a days.. friday were going to pull the Lower again and turn the shaft by hand and see if its the impellar or what..
