what year, model#, there are a lot of 6hp Johnsons.

But from the contiuouswave website a fairly limited range of plugs recommended:

1965 - 1976...... J6C ..... 0.030"
1977 - 2001 ....... QL77JC4 or QL86C .... 0.030"
