6 hp Evinrude year?

i have just got a 6 hp evinrude but it has had a new tilt bracket put on it off a near new johnson. i got a number off the block plug
a0396280. the intake manafold 6hp 391156-1 and exhaust cover 327259. from my reserch on the intake part number its a 1984 model. but it also has a made in austalia on it. and the part number says e on the website for the model

Based on the parts you posted it is a 1984 Evinrude E6RCRM 6hp Outboard

thanks thought so. on the motor it says 100/1 but i was told 50/1 because it gives you some leaway with overheating. would 70/1 be fine?

No, there was a notice to replace the 100:1 decal with a 50:1 decal. Run your engine with a 50:1 mixture.

50:1 is the correct mixture.
