My 1970 something tilts up OK but won't tilt down. Fluids, wiring and fuses seem ok. Not even a clicking sound when I try to tilt down.<br /><br />Thanks,
The Power Trim/Tilt on motors of that vintage had direct wiring (no down solenoid) to the down winding of the trim motor. Check it for voltage when you push the down switch. Your switch could also be bad. They are replaceable.
