I have a manuel and have downloaded tach instructions.<br /><br />I connected my tach and have power and ground. What I do not have is a signal. My question is:<br /><br />1. If I have a gray wire in my harness how will I know if hooked up to either rectifier or alternator? Am I looking for a wire from the engine harness to either the rectifier or the alternator?<br /><br />2. If I do not have a gray wire in my harness. Can I just connect from one of the yellow wires from the rectifier, run it along the harness to the tach?<br /><br />P.S.<br />I have a 3 prong from the tach to the control box. Power is there I know but no signal.<br /><br />Please be specific when you say attach this to that.<br /><br />Thanks in advance
