Re: 66 Starcraft Sunchief Re-Build

WOW! LIQUID LIMO ROCKS!

I am absolutely speechless. It has to be the best restoration and transformation I have seen. You have a luxury boat!

Yup a few bugs to be expected and yes I imagine that with a few adjustments and possibly a new prop you will be golden.

BTW that boat makes your trailer look like it does not belong to the boat! ;)

Congratulations on the nicest looking boat I have seen.:D

Amazing. One of the best start to finish restos we've seen on here. Congrats!

Hopefully you can get the bugs worked out fairly quickly. I don't know what is up with those darn I/O's and the throttle/shift cables.

NB

I think we all are in AWE of the GREAT job you did and you seem like a guy we all could just hang out with from your personality !
The color combos etc....

You do have one of the best looking Starcrafts on the water and I'm sure you are very proud of your work and talent.;)

This restoration will have to be pinned in the COMPLETED BOAT RESTORATIONS.

Yeah, that's a real nice job. Looks great all around! I'm sure you will get those kinks worked out in no time. The "shake down" problems are usually loose connections, adjustments, etc.

Enjoy!

Hey NB let me know what you do to fix the throttle dead space. I have the same problem ..i put it in gear then nothing for a large gap. It just doesn't seem right

Re: 66 Starcraft Sunchief Re-Build

Thanks Bob!

I've been out in the shop making some minor modifications to the trailer. Added a keel roller up front and I'm switching that V shaped bumper up near the winch for a roller. We had a minor episode at the ramp (thank God for Magic Erasers).
