Thanks I keep that in mind..If your boat is going to be on the trailer most of the time don't bother with the Marine Rusto. Find the Rusto Pro and got for it. It is the top qaulity Rusto and very durable.
Thanks DozerThe Rusto self etching spray cans go a long way, like EZ said you don't have to put lots on. After the etching I go with a complete coat of Rusto gray primer, then a light sand with 400 and then the color.
My cap was trapped by the rub rail frame. I carefully used a thin screwdriver and putty knife to lift the rear end cap and tapped off with piece of wood and hammer. I say carefully because some guys have broken their cap since it's so tight.
BTW - I had 4 rivets in mine. All from the bottom.
Not yet have to Re bunk some rivets first.Glad you got the cap off. It goes on a lot easier. Looks like paint time!
