6hp johnson fuel connector

Hi all, I had my engine in the run tank today and noticed fuel comeing from the connector on the tank side, is it ok to swap both for a mercury connectors (I have a spare one's)

Absolutely not!! Putting a Mercury part on a Johnson motor is a recipe for disaster!!:facepalm: Just kidding, as long as you are good with it, it should be ok, unless it won't bolt on right.

no it wont bolt on but I also have a mercury so it saves me changeing tanks as well, I can fit a rubber gromit to seal around the fuel pipe where it passes throuh the lower cowel,,,,,,,,my hart stopped when I started reading your reply lol
