Actually just thinking about it, I wonder if the 5 feet or so of fuel line is holding things up at any. It's all wrapped up and zip tied to the tank handle, exactly how I got it. I certainly can cut it back, which I'll probably do regardless.

eskaman2008 at sanfords goodies on ebay has all the eska sears clinton parts you will need to get your old motors running,he also carries many omc parts cheapest around

It may be that if your motor does OK every where but low RPM, that stupid throttle linkage to stator cam needs tweekin'. It's pain in the stern to adjust like the book says, so I just set it so the cam hits the linkage when the twist grip says slow, and on the other end of twist grip travel, the butterfly is wide open. I think that allows the timing to start advancing a little before the throttle starts feeding more fuel. As far as hangin' in there, why, persistence is the best tool I got, and you're the one doin' the work.
