I have a 1994 yamaha, 70 hp two stroke. The steering wheel locked up on me a couple weeks ago and I have been trying to unfreeze it. It appears the steering cable under the steering wheel has popped. I assume I need to replace the entire unit but I don't know what I need to buy. Also, how do you remove the steering cable from the steering tube by the moter. I have unscrewed the bolts but I can't pull the cable all the way out.
