Great, That is what I like to hear!! Hard to beat an old inline when it is right. Take care of it and it should take care of you. It takes a little work and love and care when they are that old but I think it is worth it. I love my 1975 150 H.P. 1500. Good Luck, Tim

i had 6 counting the inflatable just sold two on ebay. one of them i did a partial trade with a guy in charlotte, nc. for the 1350. even got another boat out of it. my uncle and his sister also my aunt live on a large lake. they each have a farm that borders 1/3 of the lake and there is anpther person that owns the other frontage. my aunt remodeled a 150 year old house there.

Keeping up the SC inline connection, I've got the same motor as Tim and am near Lake Murray in Columbia. There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of launching that 30 year old motor at the ramp crawling with bass boats, new motors and payments. I usually tie it up and let it idle (while parking) and at 40-1 smoke up the place a little just to let the others know that a piece of history is there. Tashasdaddy, you're right - these motors jump up on plane very fast. You'll have that happy feeling every time out - it never gets old.
