I have no maintenance history on this thing so I don't have the slightest idea what it could be. Drain and vent plugs are out. I jammed a little straw up 2 or 3 inches into the vent (as far as it would go). I initially tried a refill from tubes but I was not having any luck so I bought a pump and some bottles...hardy anything gets in and then it just blows the hose off the pump.

I have gotten the stray oil out of the fill hole and I can see "something" just past where the plug would be but can't tell what it is. I'm leery about just jamming a coat hanger into there without an idea of what it might hit. When I first removed the plugs hardly any oil came out.

Any ideas/guesses appreciated very much.

Make sure the top plug you have removed is the vent screw and not the flush plug for the waterpump

What an insulting idea! To think that I would confuse...oh wait. Yeah, that was it, and it worked like a champ once I did it the right way :D

Thank you!!
