On this 73' there will be issues with parts like all old baots, but what in particular? The merc 120/140HP I/O parts will be plentiful, right? The GM 4cyl engine should also have a good parts availbility as it was used all over, what is left? Hull and stringers are mint and so is the engine mounts and transome, glass, floors and interior are also good. Any reason to avoid?

I guess what I am asking, is that being so new and dumb with boats, am I going to have a hard time getting parts if I buy this?

Parts for what? If you damage a windshield you would likely have trouble finding a replacement on any boat that is 10 years old or older. Gauges are generic -- get them anywhere. Engine - used by virtually any manufacturer. Engine parts can come from any Chevy dealer. Drive parts from whomever made the drive. Hull? Can't imagine what you might need that you can't make or find a suitable substitute.
