I have been working on my old Evinrude, and recently it was pointed out to me that I was missing a link between the choke and throttle butterfly. I have purchased the link, but neither I nor the parts guy can find the piece that goes in the throttle butterfly. From what I can tell its a bushing that lets the link slide when the choke is not in use. Here is a picture I took of the link and the area circled is where I'm guessing the bushing goes. The model of the engine is 25452M.

Its not the same as the other bushing is it? I looked on the parts guys' computer at all the exploded views and never could find the bushing, neither could he, so were stuck unless someone hear can get me a good part number to take them.

Thanks for the help

If noone jumps in, I will try to dig down in my old stuff and see if I can help. But sure prefer someone else to. I might have an old on on an old carb somewhere. But it will have to travel a long way.Grease all moving links with OMC tripple guard grease.

Thats nice of you G DANE, but all I really want is the part number for the part, after that I will order it myself from some parts house. Or if someone here happens to run a marine supply store, then I can purchase it from them. I can still start and run the motor as is, the link may make it easier to get started though.

Thanks Guys
