Just bought a 75 Ranger with a 75 or 70 HP Johnson. Not sure which one because one of the old registrations show 70HP and another 75HP. Can you tell me year and HP? Serial # is J4552657.<br />Now for my next question. My key broke in the ignition switch and in the process of trying to extract the piece (while in the middle of the lake), I broke the switch. <br /><br />Didn't know where to find a switch, so am trying to replace with universal ignition switch and would like to relocate it to steering platform.<br /><br />Managed to hook it up and it turns over, but have no spark. How bad did I screw up?
