So I sheared my woodruff or flywheel key depending on what you call it. It's a 76 Chrysler 60hp model 609ha. Does anyone know where to find these? Or what the dimensions may be in order to get more precise with searches? I checked all my local auto stores and no one had any close; advance auto, pep boys, auto zone and Napa. Not a single one close to what I need, I just want to get this motor running. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

That is a "standard" key used in almost every 3 and 4 cylinder Chrysler and Force engine. The twin carb 55,60, and 65 also used that key. Go to any marine parts site pick an engine and order there

Yes, as Franks says. Oder one or two extra keys for spare.
ishopmarine, maxrules and so will have it or try Franzmarine.
Before assemble it, check the surface of the cranktap especally at the keyslot and if it is not smooth lap it with "carborundum".

So I've also been reading about the flywheel torque specs, and from what I've gathered, the nut should be torqued to 80lbs. Is this correct?
