First time out this year.....I was idling thru the harbor and motor was runnin good, and pumping water. Eventually went wide open for 200 yards and looked back and no water being pumped and smoke started coming from under the hood. I immedialtely shut it down. Have not been able to start it since. The side of the engine block does not look like it discolored. Hopefully not a blown engine. It does appear to still have compression and its not locked up. Please give me your input. Thanks IASLAB.

I assume it will turn over?

Next step is testing the compression.
