Guys,
My in-laws love to sit around and yap and like riding on pontoon boats. I have just looked at a 24ft. pontoon boat in good shape that has an old merc 65 that supposedly ran great a couple of years ago and cranked up the other day but only ran about 10min. and quit. I don't trust an old merc like that without redoing it and I don't want to redo a merc because I hate the high-dollar ignition parts so it's almost worthless to me unless I can get it running with just a carb kit and impeller which is highly unlikely. It does have an outstanding galvanized trailer. Price is 3000.00--he came down from 3800.
What do you think? Good price or not? Excellent floor, good seats, running lights.
