you are describing a lean sneeze or cough. When was the last carb overhaul? Don't know? Been more than a year? Overhaul carb/s with OEM kit/s. post back your results.

on my motor it has a black plastic box on the front of the carb that has a knob and two arrows one to the left to lean and one to the right to rich. is this the low idle adjust ? if so how much should i turn it and should i be on the water and at what trottle

turn the knob to the rich side! add more oil to your fuel! give it as much rich fuel as it will take without bogging down, rich fouls plugs, lean kills engines. if going hard to the rich side at the throttle settings you were describing the problem at, doesnt seem to make a difference, go easy...slow down , take your motor home, and rebuild the carb! tons of excellent info here on the procedure....the right way!
