have a 79 150hp v6 johnson running on one side only.starts and runs readily but only one bank working.how do i test to see if there is power coming from stator,and how many volts should it put out.any other ideas welcome.
Welcome aboard gethro63.<br /><br />Here's something quick to do. Most likely the power pack for the bank not firing is shot....but to be sure simply switch power packs. If the problem moves to the opposite bank....replace the power pack.
