83 sea king 7.5 doesnt blow alot of water

I have an 83 seaking 7.5 runs and goes into gera but when it runs it blows very little water out it kind of spits is that normal or should it be a steady stream of water.thanks

Mine blows water out those three holes pretty good so it sounds like you might have a problem. Spitting is fine since exhaust blows out as well.

Drop the lower unit and inspect the water pump. Put a jet nozzle on the end of your garden hose and shove it up the water intake tube and if there is any obstructions it might bolw them out.

To drop the lower unit remove the 4 bolts and then your lower unit will drop down an inch or so. Then you will see the shift shaft rod and there will be a screw connecting them together you will have to remove.
