84 120 MerCruiser w/Delco point distributor

Distributor seems to be in excellent condition, centrifugal advance operating smoothly, no play felt in bushing........the only thing missing is the oiling "felt", what ever was used there is deteriorated and has left a big hole......Has any one seen a specific replacement for this part or am I on my own to go to the "fabric" store and source felt for a replacement? Seems doable but would like a proper replacement if available....if not then I'll do what I have to.....
