For all of you who have been helping me during the past year, thanks! I hope that I have stumbled across the reason for the lack of performance I have been chasing while dealing with ignition, fuel, and prop problems. While attemping to do a cylinder leak down test I discovered a leak of pressure between cylinders. The machine shop told me that the cylinder head was "shaped like a banana". I am excited about the results I might obtain after the resurface and head gasket replacement. Have any of you had a similar experience? I plan on reassembly tonight and will test on the lake as soon as the weather breaks. I"ll keep you posted. And as I have said many times before. Thanks for your support!
