85 force trim running question

Should I be running my motor all the way into the water to the point it does not go down anymore and rests upon the boat?
or for other performance,should I just drop the motor down to where it hits the steel rod,but still could go down more?

Just wondering if id get better performance one way or the other under a full load,or all my buddies in the boat.lol

Best to trim it untill it works best.Too far and it will loose bite and too far down and it will plow.
Experiment with the switch under power. and different loads.
The higher up you go the harder it is in the cornering.You will need to trim down as you turn sharp.Then adjust it again as you straighten out.
