85 hp force.... vacum line unconnected?

I have an 84 85hp force. Behind the lower carb there is a rubber line hooked onto the motor. on the other end there is a threaded 90 degree nipple.... What does this threaded end go to? Thanks John

That attaches to the bottom of the airbox to recycle spit-back oil. The fitting at the bottom of the manifold has a metered hole so the hose does not necessarily need to be connected--but it will reduce the amount of oil laying inside the cowl.
