85 Johnson VRO wont keep running

I've got an 1985 Johnson 60Hp VRO that used to run great. I have been trying to get it started this spring and it will fire up, but will not keep running. It will only run if you keep hitting the primer, wont settle down to an idle, just dies. I have replaced the portable tank, hose and bulb, and fuel filter to the motor, but still will start but not idle or run.

Sounds like the carbs are gunked up. Probabaly need to be rebuilt.
