85 MR outdrive, what grease goes to what zerk fittings?

I assume there are different grease types that I need to put into the different zerks.

So, in other words I don't need to buy one type of grease and grease all the fittings, I assume there is a right and wrong grease to whatever your're greasing on the outdrive.

question is what grease goes where? where do u put 2-4-c grease? and what grease do you put elsewhere.

for my 1 drive. i use 2-4-c on all the grease fittings on the drive except the gimble brg. zerk. that one gets mercruiser gimble brg. and ujoint grease.... don't know if you have a zerk for the coupler. i don't. if i did. that one would get mercruiser spline grease on it...

Not sure it's a MR drive..it's 99% the same thing as an alpha 1 gen one. Has the flat top and all.

Not sure it's a MR drive

go to service manual #6, pp. 1B6.. the whole B section is about maint. schedules. pp 6 covers your zerks on your drive and what to apply to them...

go to #9 and get #6 and choose your poison for your engine..
