I got this boat off craigslist for free with a trailer and upon further inspection decided it wasnt worth the effort to fix up thee motor and interior are tore up and missing peices and the outdrive is missing I was gonna junk it and look for a v bottom jon when I thought why not make this into one so I will be posting my work here any ones thoughts are welcome on the build below are pictures

got some new pictures the demo went good yesterday want to finish cutting down the sides to the new height today then tear down to stringers so I can start rebuilding oh and I gotta get the Mericruiser out to get rid of it the notch you see in the picture is gonna be the new side height

yesterday was good got the rest cut now just need motor out and old floors removed then start rebuilding guess its gonna be like the Tracker bass boats kind of

That's an ambitious project you've got going. I was wondering what your plans are to keep the hull from deforming without the cap on? Are you going to glass in some ribs that will hold her together?
