86 ? 9.9 hp Mercury Prop hub

Is there a hub kit available for a 1986 Mercury 9.9 hp prop ?
Mine got sort of gooey and is slipping now.
Or, is it made as an assembly and must I get a new prop ?
Or, any method to repair ?
Its a nice clean prop, other than the gooey rubber.

Look up you serial # and see if the hub is available. If it is a prop shop should be able to press one for you.

No prop shop near here (that I know of)

If it is available and with the price to install it, you could probably buy a new Solas for cheaper.

That's what I was assuming, after looking at general prices and discussions posted around the web.
I could install it, no prob there, but still haven't seen one available anywhere.
Even asked a "prop shop", but they haven't replied.
I have urethane of several durometers to make one out of, and polyurethane adhesive to bond it in with. I'll make it work just fine. Sandblast the surfaces and machine it for a press fit.
