86 force 125 tilt&trim Please help!!!

Hi. im new to this forum, it looks like its got some smarts on it so here we go, my lift goes up good but wen i hit the switch to go down it moves very slow until it gets to the trim ram then stops, it then has no down pressure , i can lift it by hand. And wen it is up it creeps down fast. Pleas help!!

The pump didnt work wen i bought the boat so i took it apart today and found there to be some bad seals and a ball was missing, i did some readn on this forum an got some info on fixn this pump. The oring seals inside the check valves were bad so i replaced them with briggs an stratton carb needle seats and the ball, haha i opened a 20ga 1 shot steel shotshell an come to find out the bb is the same size i needed. Put that baby all back together with other new orings were needed and wala, just like new and works awsome!!!!!!!! I was so relieved it worked.
