So i have 2 CDI switch boxes (NIB), would it make sense to swap them out with my current stock ones prior to failure?

I normally believe the theory if it ain't broke don't fix it.

But it seems with these switch boxes once they go they tend to take cylinders and other components with them..

Any information would be great..

Thanx in advance..

Failure of the switchboxes do not cause harm to the mechanical components of engine. leave 'em in box until you need them. Switchboxes are pretty reliable.
