I'm new to outboard repair. Just destroyed a reef with the bottom end of my 1986 Yam 15 hp. I purchased used parts from the power head down. Looking for an idiots guide to a total bottom end rebuild. Any info out there.
Total bottem end. I cracked the exhaust casing as well as the lower unit. Have been told all internal parts are OK. Just looking at how to take all apart and put together and any tricks of the trade instead of fumbling in the dark. Manuals sometimes don't tell the whole story.
