As always,.. the pulp under my seat extended further than I originally thought.,.. thought I would doing Deck/Glass job but it looks like some stringer repair is in order as well,... the remaining aft is glass so no issues there. The rest of the boat is well worth the time and effort. Just ordered some 2LB POUR FOAM QT KIT - Hi Bond,...already have some marine ply and glass/resin.

Mid deck framing is in, coated/tabbed and glassed,.I used 5/4" cedar decking for the frame work which I think will work out well, cedar is light weight,, druable, and the decking material comes pre-beveled to except the glass. The center section I have completly glass in and that will get a drain tube, (something SR didnt do) as that is my rear anchor/lines stowage area,.. I also eliminated the two compartment hatches on deck just foward the seats (the cause of the rotted frame work), so now the entire mid-deck will get glassed over and water tight. sorry, Pics of new work coming tomorrow

Port side is decked foamed and tabbed in, center stowage area is painted and finished,(just need to drill in the bleed down fitting). Starboard side has much yet to come,.. (installing a pedestal).

Note; the 2 part pour in foam didnt expand as much as I hoped (70 degrees)... but with the help of a few coke bottles I got the cavity full.

Port side seat base is glassed in place.

Once all the glass is cured it'll be time to install the new carpet.

BTW, the blueish hue in all these pics is due to the blue tarp I have covering my project.

A Helmsman's footrest,... made of cedar with 3 coats of epoxy-resin and some 1708 on the underside for strength,... it too will get glassed to the deck.

No Title

I can finally finish this build thread,.... although it looks like most of the pics are gone now. The seat arrived (7 weeks from order to arrival),.. so keep that in mind when ordering from Veada and scheduling your build, good quality though.

Yeah, forum is having issues. I use Google Chrome Browser and Photobucket IMG Code. Seems to work well for me posting pics.
