88 spl fuel problems

Well,<br />It runs fine only with external tank. Replaced fuel line, vent hose,primer,checked uel filter. Does anyone have any advice?Some said pickup but where would it be on an inboard tank?

coosa,<br /><br />Follow the fuel line to the inboard tank. Where the line goes into the tank is the pick up. There probably is an anti siphon valve as part of that pick up, or you have some trash in the tank.
