The symptoms of a bad power pack is no spark on some cylinders.
You have a fuel delivery problem, because the motor picks up when you push the choke in. If it picks up when you squeeze the primer bulb, then fuel pump, otherwise carbs.
Bob (tashasdaddy) is an outboard mechanic in Jacksonville, but he is out this week on vacation.

tx1961whaler...thnx, can you give me more information on how to contact bob? Is he an individual mechanic or does he work for a marina? Have you used him and is he trust worthy? Thanks
