Shiuld there be a steady stream of water coming out of the motor when its running or just kind of a fast spit?? Is the water always hit conibg out or should it eventually cool down? Thanks

If you're talking about the two holes about midway up the leg, those are the water/exhaust pressure relief holes. Water normally just spits out if running on muffs in the driveway. When the motor is submerged in the water out on the lake, you may get a solid stream at idle speed. Once you get up on plane, little or no water will exit the two holes. Any water exiting the two holes should be very warm to hot since this is the water exit after it has passed through the hot engine block.
