89 50hp powerhead removal

has anybody else besides me had problems removing the powerhead on an 89 force 50???
i've removed all 7 bolts including the 2 upper shockmount bolts and it still wont separate from the midesection...

is there anything i'm missing??? cuz i cant see what else could possibly be holding it... the lower is off so it cant be the driveshaft

i've smacked the midsection with a dead blow hammer,,, i've pryed on it hard enough to pop any other gasket (dont want to pry too hard and bust something),,, and it just wont budge...

ok,,, after searching some more i stumbled across this thread

& did like cap'n morgan did (14th post) flipped it over & pryed on it,,, popped right off

it was MUCH easier to pry off the mid when the motor was upside down than pry off the powerhead right side up

(mods,,, you can either delete this thread or leave it up for anyone else who runs into this problem *shrug*)
