Ayuh,... I doubt you'll find a fix in a boneyard,...

Chevy ain't used points since the 60s, 'n they weren't Marine distributors,...

A step up to a Delco EST will fix ya up, Without points,...

No money = Being creative....take the plate out and see if you can put a new pin in...Does your points have two hold down screws?

check your local marine surplus place. I am sure at least one or two have a busted dizzy they can sell you parts from. may want to also check craigslist or ebay. However like Bondo stated, not going to find it in a boneyard - get a new one. Delco EST, or Mallory, or ....... you pick.

GM used points until the mid 70's when the HEI appeared. Yes they were used in trucks and cars. Can't imagine how you actually broke that pin.

well what happened was that I have the delco est installed but one day I was going to start up the motor and the motor had no spark.... so I flowed this tunderbolt.jpg and the part I needed was going to be around $300.00, so I had my old dizzy with the points and I was going to install new points but the points was rusted to the pin like it would not move at all.... wd40 and heat did not work so I put some pb blaster and then I thought the points was moving but it was the pin that was braking off lol..... I fixed the plate, I put in a new pin I made but I just like everything the was it was made lol........ the pin is not going to fall off but I am just worried about the dwell moving on me.....

Yup, the rubber bushings for my VW struts are $90 EACH, the entire strut assy (including bushings) was $123. I can see that happening..

As for bone yard to find one, you need to find a bone yard like this..
