Hi I have an 89 excel 225.<br />Was running fairly well then started surging and now wont run well at all. On initial start up runs erraticly and stalls. Has good compresion around 125.<br />Will start and run ok some times but as soon as load is on seems to cut out then rev then cut out.<br />Starts and runs ok when computor is bypassed. Have a freind with same motor and traded computors resulting in same problem. Could it be a sensor feed ing the computor? Also has started popping main fuse on motor so no tilt or power to engine. This is intermitent. Carbs and pumps have been rebuilt. seems to be electrical. Also Yamaha tack is fluctuating on and off now. Any ideas would be much appreciated.<br />Thanks, Steve
