Hi, I have installed new battery leads and a new battery, but my motor is still hard to turn over. I have checked the voltage drop over the solenoid as suggested by the Clymer manual (.2v drop normal) but the meter basically drops of the chart from the normal voltage showing really no meaningful reading. However the starter still seems to have an equally hard time turning over the motor even when I "jump" the solenoid. I suspect that the starter could be faulty, but I am getting tired of replacing parts then finding out it wasn't that at all. Anyone have any ideas or encountered a similiar problem?
By the way the motor runs fine once it starts.
