89 Merc Mariner won't start

I have a 75 hp Merc mariner which i had running one day. The next day I went to launch the boat and it wouldn't start. I changed the gas and the plugs. It is getting gas and fire to the plugs but won't start. Could it be flooded?

Never heard from anyone about my problem so I continued to work on the motor and found the problem myself and fixed it. Motor runs great!

AH CRAP !! A kill switch? where would i find this? Granted its on a 1976 Johnson O/b 55hp.

I'm not sure of its location on your motor,but it is where your safety lanyard is hooked.
